Designer Amanda Ché was born and raised minutes from Malibu Beach in Calabasas, California. At a young age she was a competitive swimmer and has always loved the water. Traveling to destination beaches around the world to scuba dive and explore, has influenced her passion in swimwear design. She discovered her love and talent for design and business at a very young age. Taking orders for custom designed lace teddy bears at 5 years old, is where it all began. Fashion has always been natural to Amanda, and at age 13 she began working in a family business manufacturing lingerie. Right before graduating from the Los Angeles Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Amanda designed and sold her first line of luxury handbags to upscale boutiques in the US. Now recognizing a niche in the swimwear market for unique designer suits with lingerie fit, she launched contemporary swimwear in the A.Che collection. A.Che is unique by integrating intimate apparel function and the latest technology available for exceptional fit, with artistic styling details. The swimwear feature fine Italian fabrics and bra-sized molded cups, underwires, and push ups designed for the sophisticated woman looking for sultry.
