October is traditionally known as a month for cozy sweaters, pumpkin lattes, and Halloween. However, it is also recognized as the official National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year marks the 25^th anniversary of NBCAM, as it is known.  The symbol of solidarity is designated by a pink ribbon, and many retailers utilize the color pink of the ribbon to support the cause.
