Doctor of Dress, Lynne Glassman will show Washington area women what styles and colors become them amid the silken lingerie at Sylene of DC’s Chevy Chase store as part of Sylene’s Bras and Bruch series on Sunday, May 2nd from 10:30 a.m. until noon. She will review how color can work for or against you, and discuss how understanding the shape of your face can have a powerful impact on the choices you make. She will offer tips for “closet surgery”. Whether you are a fashion icon or happy to hang out in your sweats, this program will give you some simple ideas to remake or update your image. Success in the City Founder, Cynthia de Lorenzi will share the secrets of successful networking with Washington area women amid the silken lingerie at Sylene of DC’s Chevy Chase store as part of Sylene’s Bras and Bruch series on Sunday, March 7th from 10:30 a.m. until noon. We hope you will join us for discussion, mimosas, and brunch as we raise money for Critters for the Cure.
After relocating to the metro Washington region from Dallas, Texas, Cynthia de Lorenzi discovered that she was missing the personal support system of other successful women that she had enjoyed in Texas. So she decided to throw a one-time networking bash to meet some new friends. Meant merely as a razzle-dazzle Texas-style party to say goodbye to the successful “Sex in the City” cable network show, the party inspired the 70 celebrants to urge Cynthia to arrange for this type of fun again and again! Cynthia created an event-driven organization which offers friendship, fun and social opportunities for professional women to congregate and get to know each other. Success in the City serves women who stand out, lead and influence others. Our objective is to offer programs and events that help our members develop lasting peer relationships with other successful women. Trust and humor are key elements for women in developing lasting friendships and once those relationships are formed, deals-on-heels are sure to follow!
