There are so many great trends in fall’s fabulous fashions, and intimates are no exception. Some of the prominently featured themes in tradeshows and on runways alike included lace and ruffles. Sylene offers countless varieties at their Chevy Chase store.

Use this checklist to make sure your bra fits you properly.
1. The back is properly adjusted; the three hooks are designed for this purpose.
2. The sides shouldn’t fold or feel too tight.
3. The bra should not move when you move around.
4. The bra should not cut into the breasts.
5. The straps should be properly adjusted; not too tight (the back strap creeps up and the breasts dip down), and not too loose (the bra is not supportive enough).
And if despite all of the correct strap adjustments, you have the feeling the back is still a little too high, choose a smaller band size and a larger cup, i.e., choose 34C instead of 36B.

Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer. And summer means lighter, carefree clothing, often in lighter colors. Lighter clothing may be ideal for the heat of summer, but it can leave you too exposed under fine and delicate materials. Here are some bras you can’t live without during the summer:
Convertible bra
Many manufacturers are now making bras with interchangeable adjustable straps that can be adjusted for strapless tops and dresses, cross-back styles, halters, or traditional T-shirts. Worn with one strap, two straps, or no straps, the convertible bra is designed to create the configuration you want with the choice of going strapless or wearing your bra many different ways.
T- Shirt bra
T-shirt bras are seamless, contoured styles that give you a sleek look under lightweight, clingy tops and knit shells, providing a completely smooth look with a natural shape. A demi bra style is great when wearing a plunging or revealing neckline.
Racer back or T- back bra
Showing your straps can be tacky or fashionable, depending on your perspective. However most women want to make sure their straps are hidden and stay hidden. For tank tops and racer back fashions, wear a racer back or t-back bra to keep your bra straps out of view. If you can’t find one in your size, a convertible bra can be modified to achieve the same result.
