In 1948, the Simone Perele legend begins in a warmly-lit workshop on rue de Montyon in Paris. The daughter of an expert corset-maker, Madame Simone Perele grew up with a natural understanding of a woman's body and its movements. Truly avant-garde for her time, she envisioned modern women as they are today: active, confident and independent. With this in mind, she sought to create high-quality handcrafted lingerie that combined design with comfort and well-being. A confident, determined and passionate French woman, Madame Perele followed her instincts. So began the legend of a lingerie concept that anticipated the 21st century. Today Madame Simone Perele's two children, Philippe and Catherine, carry on in their mother's design philosophy.
